New Jersey based visual artist, Rustam Mark Gutierrez has been honing his skills in painting for the past 20 years.  Originally a fan of comic art, RMG has blended his studies of classic portraiture and figurative art from the iconic works of Lucian Freud, Alice Neel, and Norman Rockwell and has made a perfect marriage of his passions.

Rustam was classically trained in painting at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Most recently, however, he's exploring  the intersections of classical and digital art. The inclusion of this new element into his work has given him the opportunity to further his skills and explore more possibilities for his visual art.
